Members of the NC500 - Meikle Ferry Station.

The NC500 is the new name for a road that had taken you around the north coast of Scotland for many many years, but with the naming of the road, it brings new life to the route. It has brought so many more options for business growth here in the North Highland and an opportunity for tourists to have to make more than 1 visit to the Highlands due to the amazing amount of natural and cultural places to explore.

We are located on the North Coast 500 route and we have 2 amazing distillers beside us, with Glenmorangie and Balblair both a couple of miles away. Just over the Dornoch Bridge where we are located, takes you north to the stunning beaches at Dornoch and then onto the Dunrobin Castle.

With our Accommodation at Linne Lodge holding 8 people and with its own hot tub, we have the fun of seeing the guest after their return day out and while they dine with us we get to see the joy of what a great day out exploring the Highlands of Scotland on the NC500 can do to your happiness levels.

We might be in the Highlands but we have some beautiful walks with no mountaineering required. We have stunning beaches In Dornoch and Golspie to explore. Tain is the oldest Royal Burgh in Scotland, granted in 1066, with some amazing architecture to explore. We have the ancient monument at Fyrish, by Alness, with a hill climb but an explansive view to as far as the Cairngorm to enjoy from the top.
