‘Meikle Ferry Station’ is a recently refurbished former Train Station (active for only 5 years between 1864 & 1869!). Latterly it was known as the ‘Dornoch Bridge Inn’, a popular food and function venue for both local clientele and visiting tourists.
The property has been extensively renovated and modernised to create a complex which houses a café / restaurant and gift shop, and a accommodation comprising of a 4 Bedroom self-catering property and a 2 bedroom flat.
The Café / Restaurant provides full table service for up to 60 covers. The food offerings focus on Traditional Scottish fare and Home Baking. Our food is prepared using locally sourced and seasonal produce wherever possible. Our menus also offer a selection of Vegetarian and Vegan choices, recognising that these areas are often neglected by some restaurants. Additionally, we offer a varied choice of cuisine for children.
Our Vision is to create a vibrant commercial complex, comprising of 2 Residential Properties, a Restaurant and a Retail area. We are intent on establishing a business which has a reputation for providing high quality food and accommodation, with a warm, friendly and personal service. An attractive, relaxing place to ‘Stop, Eat and Shop’.
